New Services at The Lauriston Centre: Family Functional Nutrition & Psychotherapy Services
We’re delighted to share some exciting news from the Lauriston Centre.
First, we are launching our new Family Functional Nutrition & Wellbeing Packages, designed to support not only children’s health and wellbeing but also the wellbeing of parents and siblings.
Second, we are welcoming a new practitioner, Alla Horoshenkova, a registered Integrative Psychotherapist who works with adults across a wide range of emotional and psychological needs.

Family Functional Nutrition & Wellbeing Package
Ideal for:
Families with up to 3–4 individuals seeking tailored and practical support with:
Autism or neurodiversity-related nutrition and behaviour
Sibling anxiety and emotional resilience
Family dietary habits, routines, and overall wellbeing
This package recognises that every family member has unique needs, while also honouring the shared journey and dynamics. It is designed to be empathetic, structured, and flexible, offering both immediate guidance and longer-term support.
What’s Included
1. Initial Family Consultation (90 minutes, joint session)
Full dietary and lifestyle assessment
Review of behavioural dynamics, lifestyle and family routines
Discussion of mealtime challenges and family interactions
2. Individual Consultations (60 minutes each)
One session for the child with autism (nutrition & behavioural focus)
One session for a sibling (emotional & behavioural focus)
One session for a parent (family of 3) or both parents (family of 4)
3. Follow-Up Reviews (40 minutes each)
Two follow-up consultations per family member
Ongoing monitoring and adjustment of recommendations
Psychotherapy with Alla Horoshenkova
We are also very pleased to welcome Alla Horoshenkova, an Integrative Psychotherapist (MA, BACP Accredited), to The Lauriston Centre team.
Alla works exclusively with adults, offering therapy both online and in person at Ben Rhydding and The Grove Counselling & Psychotherapy Practice in Ilkley.
Her work covers a wide range of needs, including:
Stress and family pressures
Anxiety and OCD
Trauma and grief
Coming to terms with a diagnosis
Psychotherapy provides a safe and supportive space to explore challenges, understand emotions, and build resilience. It can help people feel calmer, clearer, and more confident in their daily lives.
